Held at St Lawrence Catholic Church Hall

QUILT BLOCK CONTEST RULES                                                                       Theme:  SEASONS

 

1.  The unquilted block must be 12 ½ inches (a 12 inch block with a 1/4 inch seam allowance on all sides.

 

2.  The block must be the work of the entrant.  Only one entry per person will be accepted.

 

3.  Blocks may be constructed using any method.

 

4.  The finished block must be clean and pressed.

 

5.  The block must be labeled with name and address of entrant safety pinned to the block

 

6.  Each category will be judged on correct size, color coordination, design, workmanship, and adaptation of theme.

 

7.  First, Second and Third places will be awarded in each category (1st - $25.00, 2nd - $15.00, 3rd – $10.00).  Prizes will be awarded at 4:00 PM at the quilt show.

                                           Greenville, IL  62246                Postmarked no later than March 15, 2008.

 

Or Hand delivered blocks will be collected at the Hoiles-Davis Museum, 318 West Winter St., Greenville, on March 14 & 15, 2008 between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
